We have purchased a lot of product from…

We have purchased a lot of product from this store over the years. We are firm believers in shopping locally, and the owner and employees in that store are great. With Covid, it had become necessary to shop and order on line if possible, and ‘If possible’ is the key term here. They have no app, and the on line shopping site is a nightmare. It never was good, but now it just keeps jumping to “choose your store” ….. After choosing, it keeps flipping back to the same thing…it’s stuck in a loop, and is completely useless. I couldn’t even complain on the site….it kept flipping back to “choose your store”… We recently spent many hundreds elsewhere because of this. We like to shop and compare, and of course the ease of purchasing is huge. If they don’t create a decent on-line shopping app, Home Hardware is destined to die, and that would be just plain sad.

Refusing to refund me after giving my order to someone else!

I ordered a reel lawn mower and ended up waiting almost two weeks for it to arrive. I managed to source one elsewhere in the meantime with next day delivery so planned to cancel the order for a refund. When I went to do so I was told the order had been collected! Turns out that the store handed the order to my neighbour, WITHOUT my permission and has billed me! So now I’m out the money, don’t have the item and the whole time fighting to get MY money back I’m being treated like I’m trying to commit fraud! What’s the point in having processes in place such as requiring ID if you’re just going to hand my order to the first person that knows my name? I no longer trust this company and will never return to any of its stores. The fact that this has happened in the first place is bad enough but to argue even when there’s someone else’s signature on the collection, NOT mine is absolutely unacceptable. I should not be penalized for one of your staff members making this mistake and the fact they’re keeping my money is out right theft.

They don't really care if you get item…

They don't really care if you get item defective or damaged.it's better I buy it from dollarama both don't care about damaged product but at least dollarama is cheap in price compared to home hardware.

BRANTFORD location

BRANTFORD location. Off of charring cross near dairy delight. Horrible service poor attitudes. Never step foot in the door again.
